10/13/16 - Welcome and icebreaker activity (this or that- students were given a question and asked to move to different sides of the room based on their answer). Brainstormed list of activities that they wanted to do this year to help the school and community. Helped put out boxes, decorate boxes, and created signs for "Make a Difference Day" where non-perishable items will be collected for those in need. Made bookmarks for kindergarten students to promote reading. Assisted various teachers

11/17/16 - Each student introduced themselves and told one fact about themselves because there were some new members. Discussed upcoming event for Christmas food drive (December 5-16). Students will collect cans for 2nd grade collection. Students decorated boxes to promote the food drive. Students created placements for Manatawny Manor retirement home. Students also began decorating a Christmas craft that will go to the retirement home, and also to children with disabilities. Students also decorated an "Hour of Code" box to promote the school's event for Hour of Code. Students also finished creating bookmarks that will go to first grade students to promote reading.

12/8/16 - Club members made holiday cards for residents at Kencrest Services. Kencrest Services cares for children with disabilities. Students also made holiday ornaments for residents of Manatawny Manor. Club members also collected and organized boxes and cans for the 2nd grade food drive that benefits Lions Food Basket. Students organized materials for Hour of Code school-wide activities. Some students helped teachers around the building in their classrooms.

1/12/17 - East Vincent Elementary will be raising money for Pennies for Patients from February 6- February 24. Pennies for Patients benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. During the meeting, students put together boxes for each home room for Pennies for Patients. They also sorted the individual student boxes for each homeroom. Students also made and put up posters for the event. They also counted and sorted flyers for students in each homeroom to help advertise the event. The school wide goal is to raise $700. Students also made valentines for residents of Manatawny Manor.\

2/13/17 - The Lions Club made Valentines for residents at Manatawny Manor. They also made blankets for residents of Manatawny Manor. Club members also counted money for Pennies for Patients. Pennies for Patients raise money for patients with lymphoma and leukemia. So far, East Vincent has raised over $1,300. The event will continue through Feb. 24.

3/9/17 - East Vincent raised over $2,000 for Pennies for Patients! At the meeting, club members started to make "Adopt Me" bandanas for dogs at the Providence Animal Shelter in Media, PA. Club members also worked on making blankets for residents at Manatawny Manor.

3/31/17 - Students continued to make "Adopt Me" bandanas and finished making blankets. Students also made PSSA motivational posters to hang up in the hallway to motivate students. Also, a Coventry Lions representative came to promote a community service event at Warwick Park.

5/11 from 3:15-4:15. Students made teacher appreciate cards for all the teacher in the building for teacher appreciation week. Students also continued making bandanas for dogs in an animal shelter to be adopted.  Students also helped the kindergarten teacher set up the "Book Mobile" to promote reading.

5/31 FROM 3:15-4:00: Lion Cub Induction ceremony. End of the year celebration.
