1. Attendance – 104 members attending today’s meeting

2. Relay for Life Face Painters

a. Coventry Little League Opening Day, Saturday, April 8th

b. Various 2 hour volunteer slots between the hours of 9:30am-4:30pm

3. Education Foundation Spring Consignment Sale

a. Thursday March 30th (setup) – Saturday, April 1st, OJR Middle School

b. See Attachment for specific volunteer time slots and needs

4. Outdoor Service Project

a. Looking at a Sunday afternoon in early May.

b. Kenilworth Park Azalea Alley restoration (invasive plant removal, shrub planting)

c. Kenilworth Park Sherfel Field Bleacher restoration (removal of deteriorated wood, wood replacement)

d. Our club with provide the labor and funding to complete these projects.

e. More information will be shared soon.

5. Leo Club Rally

a. On Saturday, April 29th, our club will be hosting the District 14P Leo Club Rally.  Leos and Lions from 13 different schools have been invited to this event.  We could potentially be hosting over 100 people.

b. The Rally will take place at OJR Middle School from 9:00am-1pm on Saturday, April 29th

c. All OJRHS Leos are invited to attend.  Many volunteers are needed to help with registration, serving lunch, and leading some breakout sessions.

d. Each club has been asked to nominate a ‘Leo of the Year’, that will receive an award and recognition at the Rally.

e. Our club needs to construct a ‘brag board’ display with pictures and information about our club’s community involvement.

6. North Coventry Art Show Setup

a. Information will be added to the spreadsheet soon for an opportunity to help at North Coventry Elementary School, after school, in mid-April with the hanging and displaying of student artwork in preparation for their annual art show.

b. Specific times and dates will be shared when available

7. Battle of the Bands

a. Friday, May 19th

8. Mission/Service Trip to Boston from June 25-30

a. A local youth group comprised of OJRHS students (Cederville UMC) has one student spot open to join their group’s trip to Boston this summer.  This is a faith-based trip to serve in the community for the week.  If interested or have more questions, see Mr. McCormick for details.

b. If your name is highlighted in Green on the attendance sheet, you have met the minimum club requirements for the year.  If your name is highlighted in Yellow on either the attendance or volunteer hour sheet, you have met one of the club requirements.  All members must complete at least 5 hours of volunteering and attend at least 4 monthly meetings.
