The news is out, our charter application has been approved! One Facebook status cannot possibly explain how grateful we are and how honored we feel. This truly would not have been possible without all of the support from our fellow lions and of course the help from over 30 charter members. Thank you so much to everyone who has played a hand in our charter. We are full of excitement and can't wait to keep this momentum going.

This year DG Ken's special emphasis is a program mirroring the Make a Wish Foundation - Moment of Peace Adventures. Kids with terminal diseases, such as cancer, are afforded with a special outdoor life experience (read - hunting, fishing) to help take their mind off their ailment for that brief time. One teenager's wish was to go hunting for elk. This wish was fulfilled. a local taxidermist had the trophy mounted and placed on the teenagers wall.
