October 1, 2014- 17 students came to the meeting on the 1st. We introduced ourselves and talked about the upcoming year. Terry came in and showed a Power Point about the Lions. At the end, the cubs watched a small piece of the "Miracle Worker
November 5th, 2014 13 students attended our 2nd meeting. We handed out permission forms to help at the PTA Holiday Shoppe Night. We also created posters and an announcement to promote our Lion Cubs Book Drive. The Book Drive will run from November 6-December 16. The books will be donated to the Veterans and to Laundromats to promote reading to kids
December 5th, 2014- We volunteered to help the PTA get set up for their annual holiday shoppe night. The kids were busy decorating, setting up tables, and get supplies out for the shopping event
January 7th, 2015- The kids loaded books for the Laundromats for kids. They also started planning for their babysitting event. The kids will be volunteering to help at the YMCA to have a fun Frozen afternoon with the kids. They have fun games, crafts, and snacks planned that all focus on the movie Frozen
January 13th, 2015 The Cubs had planned a variety of activities during their meeting last week to do with students who attend the YMCA after school program. Durig their meeting today, students did all of their planned activities with the students at the YMCA. Gthe Cubs really enjoyed planning, preparing and executing their activities.February 4, 2015- Today the Lion Cubs used a website called Freerice.com. The children did grammar, math, and vocabulary games that collected points. The points that were earned collected grains of rice that will be donated to the feed the hungry.

April 8th, 2015- The Lion Cubs went around French Creek and helped out different teachers on various projects. Some students helped the Art teacher prepare for the upcoming Art Show, other students organized classroom libraries and another group of students helped cover instructional materials for PSSA testing.
