Saturday, October 25th was to be the traditional Make a Difference Day at Owen J. Roberts School District; instead it was the last day of
Make a Difference Week as every school in the district participated in a week long food drive to replenish the shelves of the community's
local food bank.

Kira Rumpp, 7th grade teacher and Middle School Leo Advisor spearheaded the event for the district. In the end, a 72 passenger bus was loaded to nearly overflowing with the collected food and dry goods.

Disadvantaged families in the community come to the Coventry Food Pantry twice a month to receive food items and dry good items to help them in having a more normal livelihood.
