On May 30th the OJR Leo Club Presented the Battle of the Bands at the High School Auditorium.
Seven Bands were featured in the evening program. There was something for everyone as the bands played every genre of music imaginable. From Heavy Metal to Pop.
The Three Man Band Crisis started off the evening's activities playing a set of hard rock that had the audience wanting more.

Crisis: Alex Fair, Carson Bauer, Wolfgang Noll
After each band played their set, a solo performer and in some cases a duet played a few instrumental and vocal songs while the next band was preparing for their set.
The first solo entertainer Mason Ayres invited instrumentaliist Josh Braun to accompany him as he shared a medley of songs for the audience.
Stormcloak: Philip Benjamin, Matt Benjamin, Sean Tevis, Dan Shade, Kevin Miller
Monarchy of Roses: Zach Moyer, Logan Moyer, Tom Mitchnock, Jared Epps
Electrified: Mike Matteson, Adam Mirabile, Kellen Hunsberger - played a set of the Blues with lead guitarist Adam hitting riffs that would make any blues artist envious.
Wasted: Noah Kolb, Mark Dyer, Mike Matteson
Formaldahyde and Seek: Jason Diefenderfer, Elena Malamed, Fiona Mclaughlin, Kelly Thompson - fronted by three girls and backed by Jason on the drums played a set of new age pop
The DysFunktion: Eddie Meyer, Allen Taylor, Tyler Maute, Hendrick Burger, Faith Duncan, Nick Ficca, Barbara Wadsworth (guest appearance byrappers Eric Gift and Baxter Rechtin) - featured great instrumentals and vocals.
Emily Keck - her version of "Falling in Love" - an Elvis Standard.. The song held special meaning for Emily as it was the song her mother wanted to have played at her wedding.
Josh Braun -The One Man Band tore up the twelve string, playing riffs that are difficult enough on a six string.
Jackie Cooper - sang "Dear No One" (by Jackie's favorite artist Tori Kelly) while accompanying herself on guitar.
Mason Ayres - Sang vocals a mixture of pop and soft rock accompanied by Josh while playing the six string.
Hanna Glass joined Emily for a vocal duet"Time After Time" accompanied by Emily's guitar
At the end of the Battle - the audience voted for their favorite band and
The Dysfunction won the Battle of the Bands.
The event raised nearly $1000.00 to be used for the Leo's planned service activities for next year.
