Lions, Leos and Lion Cubs Join Forces to Help at the Annual Coventry Woods Festival

Leo Raeann Risko is seen with a pair of Lion Cubs as they man the Game Stations at the Coventry Woods Festival

On Sunday, May 22nd ten OJR High School Leos and a half dozen Lion Cubs from North Coventry Elementary School ran game stations and an obstacle course at the annual Coventry Woods Festival.

Taylor and Lindsey LaFountain along with Serena Hertzog Kept the visiting kids hopping as they made their way back and forth on the Obstacle Course. Alec Betters helped the youngsters at the Chicken-in-a-Bucket while Raya Pezzillo had the kids feeding the goats at the Beanbag Toss. Alex Moore and Bridgette Bonenberger proved to the attendees that Pigs could fly as they manned the Pigs Parachute Station. Trevor Goodwin and Connor Harlow kept the visitors safe as they stood guard by the Black Bear! Raeann Risko spent the entire Festival at the Volleyball station; most likely the youngster's favorite game as there were full courts all afternoon!

While the Leos and Lion Cubs were in charge of the Obstacle Course and Games, members of the Coventry Lions Club were busy manning the tent that opened visitors' eyes to the many services the Lions Club offers the community. Also, tickets were being sold for the upcoming Chester County Blue Barbecue to be held on June 4th at Wyndsor Farm.
